  • Bug fix release to correct the use of extern in imcore.h, this is now an error by default in the latest GCC 10. Older compilers would convert this into a common block, which can still be done by passing -fcommon to the compiler to restore the old behaviour.

  • Overhauled configure for CFITSIO 4.x, which now depends on zlib and sometimes also libcurl if it was found by the CFITSIO configure script. Improved the wcslib search and fixed issues with finding libcfitsio and wcslib on Debian multiarch systems.
  • Fixed off-by-one error in catsearch for local 2MASS/USNOB catalogues. This could cause a row to get left off the search results in cases where the last row was within the search box.
  • Fixed segfault for cattype=1 and 2 when nbit=0.

  • The ell file in imcore_list now places the objects at the original coordinate location rather than in the location where the detection algorithm _thinks_ there might be an object. wcsfit now checks to see if there are any rows in the input catalogue. If there aren't then we just get a non-fatal error message and moves onto the next extension.
